What is meant by the "ransom of Ismail" that the deceased mother vowed, and is it permissible to distribute from the great ram to relatives, and is it a condition that it be slaughtered only on Eid al-Adha?

If the deceased woman left behind what is needed to fulfill her vow (nadhr (definition)), it must be fulfilled from her estate. One of her sons may voluntarily offer to pay for it. If the vow was absolute (e.g., "to slaughter a ram for Allah"), it is not obligatory to slaughter it on Eid al-Adha. However, if it was a vow of sacrifice (nadhr tadhiyah), then it must be slaughtered during the days of slaughter (the day of Eid al-Adha and the three days following it). Her relatives may eat from the vowed sacrifice if they are poor, or if she intended to give them some of it, or if there is a prevailing custom indicating such.
