We advise you to be patient, seek reward from Allah, and strive to reform your wife with wisdom and good counsel. Avoid responding to her misconduct with similar misconduct or striking her, and do not inform her father of her actions. You should strengthen her faith and inform her that bad manners diminish her reward and cause people to shun her, while good manners bring her closer to her Lord and enable her to attain high ranks in Paradise.
