Are the following two formulas for praying upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, correct: "O Allah, bless our Prophet Muhammad, and his family, and his companions, and grant them peace," and "O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim, and grantبارك upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You granted baraka upon Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim"?

There is no Sharia (definition)-based prohibition observed in the two mentioned formulations, despite a linguistic error in one of them. The formulation of prayers upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is not restrictive; rather, any formulation that does not contain a prohibition is sufficient. The best of these formulations is the Ibrahimiyyah prayer, which the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, taught to his Companions.
