Did Islam and Muslims exist before the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him?

Islam is the religion Allah has chosen for humanity, and whoever seeks a religion other than it will be among the losers. Allah has described prophets and their followers with it, such as Abraham, Jacob and his sons, Ishmael, Pharaoh's magicians after their conversion to Islam, Noah, Moses, Solomon, Lot's family, and the disciples. This demonstrates that Islam is an extension of Allah's religion from ancient times, and that it will reach every place, by which Allah will strengthen Islam and humiliate disbelief.
