Is it permissible to say: (O Allah, send prayers upon the 26th of September Revolution, and upon its family and all its companions) citing as proof the Hadith "O Allah, send prayers upon the family of Abu Awfa"?

Praying for revolutions is an innovation (bid'ah) because prayer is a symbol of supplication for individuals (prophets), and it has not been mentioned in Islamic law that one should pray for actions or deeds. If the majority of scholars have prohibited praying for individuals other than prophets, then what about praying for actions?

The majority of scholars say: It is not permissible to single out anyone other than the prophets for prayer, because this is a distinguishing mark for prophets when they are mentioned, so no one else should be associated with them in this regard.
