The answer

This is not a from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, but rather one of the fabrications that has no basis. And whoever wishes to enjoin a man to treat his wife kindly should cite the authentic hadiths such as: "Treat women kindly," and "The best of you is he who is best to his family, and I am the best of you to my family," and "O Allah, I declare inviolable the rights of the two weak ones: the orphan and the woman."
