Did the Prophet (PBUH) curse Muawiyah, based on the narration in Nahj al-Balagha which states: "May Allah curse the rider, the leader, and the driver," and then described them as: "These are murderers, and they are evil for Islam, and they are the husband and sons of the liver-eater of my uncle Hamza"?

The book "Nahj al-Balagha" is not considered among the accredited books of narration, and its authors are not trustworthy. العلامة Muhibb al-Din al-Khatib mentioned that most of it is from the words of al-Radi and al-Murtada, and not from the words of Ali, may Allah be pleased with him.

As for the hadith (definition), "May Allah curse the rider, the leader, and the driver," it was mentioned in Nahj al-Balagha without a chain of transmission, and it appeared ambiguously in the books of Sunnah (definition), without specifying the name of the cursed one.
