Scholars have differed regarding the exact date of the Prophet's death, peace and blessings be upon him. Ibn Hajar mentioned that his death occurred on a Monday in Rabi' al-Awwal, stating that there was almost a consensus on this, although other narrations mention it as the eleventh or twelfth of Rabi' al-Awwal, or the first or second of it.
