How do we deal with the narrations of the Prophet's biography in a practical and satisfactory way?
The Prophetic biography () is the practical interpretation of the Holy Qur'an and an authentic source of guidance in a Muslim's life. This can only be achieved by studying it, understanding it, and drawing lessons and insights from it.
Two important points must be considered when studying the Seerah:
First: Verification and Authenticity. Many books of Seerah do not distinguish between what is authentic and what is not. It is necessary to apply the rules of the scholars in critiquing narrations and the rules of legitimate inference. Some contemporary scholars have focused on this, such as Dr. Akram Diya Al-Umari and Sheikh Al-Albani's book " As-Seerah An-Nabawiyah."
Second: Comprehension and Derivation of Lessons. Some authors approach it with preconceived intellectual biases. Therefore, it must be studied with the earnestness of one seeking guidance, while considering every aspect of an event.
