The author of Awn al-Ma'bud mentioned that the maker of the Messenger of Allah's (peace be upon him) pulpit was a carpenter named Maymun, or Baqul or Baqum, or Sabbah, or Qabisah al-Makhzumi, and that the most accurate (opinion) is that he was Maymun.
