The answer

Everything the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, including sermons and other pronouncements, is considered among the Prophetic Hadiths. This is because a Prophetic is everything attributed to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, whether it be a saying, an action, an approval, or a physical or moral description. This is called a Marfu‘ Hadith. The sermon he, peace and blessings be upon him, delivered at Ghadir Khumm is authentic and has been transmitted to us by the scholars of Ahlus-, and there is nothing in it that provides any basis for the people of innovation.
