Does sorcery have an effect on preventing a wife from conceiving?

Sorcery can, by Allah's will, affect and prevent conception. It is a forbidden act, as is approaching sorcerers. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever comes to a sorcerer or a soothsayer or a diviner and believes what he says, has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him."
