How authentic is the Hadith: "Mention the wicked for what is in them"?

This is very weak and is not authentically reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. The Imams of Hadith have unanimously agreed on its weakness. However, it is permissible to backbite a transgressor who openly commits sin and iniquity, so that people may beware of him. This is narrated from Al- Al-Basri and others.
