How can the two prophetic hadiths be reconciled: "The Hour will not be established until... they fight" which implies its establishment upon the believers, and "The Hour will only be established upon the worst of creation"?

The Hour will not be established until the Muslims fight the Jews and defeat them. And the Hour will only be established upon the worst of creation. The first hadith (definition) indicates that the Hour will not come until after the Muslims fight the Jews, not at its establishment. The other hadith clarifies that the Hour will be established upon the wicked, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The Hour will not be established except upon the worst of people," and "Among the worst of people are those upon whom the Hour will be established while they are alive." As for the believers, they will die before the Hour comes, by a good wind that takes every believing soul.
