Is it considered forbidden for children to agree to their parents' requests despite inner discomfort, and what is the religious ruling on that?

Allah Almighty commanded kindness and good treatment to parents, and He coupled kindness to them with His Oneness, due to their great status. He said: "And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And to parents, good treatment." The kindness to the mother is emphasized due to what she undertook of carrying, suckling, and raising, as stated in the Hadith (definition) of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Your mother, then your mother, then your mother, then your father."

The questioner must strive to show joy and obedience to his parents in matters that conform to Islamic law and are within his capacity, and he should not pay attention to any burden he feels in his heart, for it might be a whisper from Satan. He should seek refuge in Allah if he feels distressed.
