Is the story true about the man who was unable to answer the questions in the grave, and a young man of intense light came to mediate between him and the two angels, and said that he was the Salah (prayers/blessings) upon the Prophet — may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him — that the man used to frequently invoke, and that this story is accompanied by the Hadith: “Increase your Salah upon me, for it is light in this world, and light in the grave, and light in Paradise”?

Dreams are not a basis for beliefs; rather, they are subsidiary to established revelation. The dreams of those other than prophets cannot form the basis of a legal ruling. This dream contradicts what has been established: that a Muslim will answer the questions of the two angels in the grave with steadfastness, due to the Almighty's saying: (Allah will establish those who have believed with the firm word in worldly life and in the Hereafter). As for the mentioned hadith (definition), it has no basis, and it is circulated by Shiite books and some late jurists without a chain of narration. Sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has numerous virtues, as explained by Ibn al-Qayyim in his book "Jala' al-Afham."
