This has no basis. It appears to be among the fabricated Hadiths concerning the virtues of prayer in Sha'ban. Indeed, mendacious Hadiths have been fabricated and attributed to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, regarding the virtues of Sha'ban, prayer therein, and the night of the 15th thereof. Similarly, Hadiths have been fabricated regarding the virtues of prayer on certain days of the week. Therefore, it is impermissible to act upon this fabricated and forged Hadith, and the authentic Hadiths are sufficient.
