The answer

Paganism is the worship of idols and attachment to them, and it refers to religions that worship idols, such as the polytheists of Arabia, India, and Japan. The Quran and have forbidden the worship of idols and commanded the worship of Allah alone, as He Almighty said: "So avoid the uncleanliness of idols" and "And uncleanness, shun it." The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, informed that the Hour will not commence until tribes from his nation worship idols, and that the women of Daws will return to worshipping Dhu al-Khalasah. Paganism is currently widespread in some countries like India, Japan, and Africa, and it will return to the Arabian Peninsula at the end of time before the Hour commences.
