The awaited Mahdi is a reality about which the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, informed us in many authentic hadiths. He is Muhammad ibn Abdullah, from the lineage of Fatimah, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. The meaning of "Allah will rectify him in one night" is that He will prepare him for the Caliphate, grant him repentance, success, inspiration, and guidance.
