The answer

We have previously explained the definition of menstrual blood, its characteristics, and the difference between it and istihada (non-menstrual vaginal bleeding). Flowing profusely is not a condition for menstruation. To learn what is forbidden for a menstruating woman and other rulings, please refer to Fatwa No. 43646.
