Is blood that appeared after the usual menstrual period, and continued with mild pain, considered menstruation, irregular bleeding, or a hemorrhage, especially since menstruation was delayed last month and the doctor said that menstrual irregularities are normal?

If the blood continues for longer than the usual menstrual period, it is considered menses, and prayer and all that is forbidden for a menstruating woman should be refrained from, unless it exceeds fifteen days. If these membranes are not present, meaning the cotton swab comes out clean, then these ten days are considered a period of purity. The blood that reappears after that is not considered menses, because it returned before the minimum period of purity between two menstrual cycles (fifteen days).
