Is there a specific quantity for the white discharge, the sign of women's purity, or is a small, transparent amount of it considered a sign of purity, even if that leads to performing ghusl multiple times after seeing blood again?
A woman recognizes the cessation of menstruation by one of two signs: dryness (the cotton swab comes out clean), or the white discharge (a white fluid that appears after menstruation). Whichever of these is found first, the woman has become pure and must perform . There is no specific quantity for the white discharge; whenever a woman sees this sign, even in a small amount, she is considered pure. The preponderant opinion is that whenever she sees purity, even by dryness, she should perform ghusl and pray. And whenever she sees the white discharge, she must perform ghusl, and all the rulings for pure women apply to her. If blood returns during the menstrual period, she reverts to being in a state of menstruation.
