Is it permissible to pray while bleeding continues after forty days postpartum (nifas), and with the discharge of secretions that resemble blood but one is not certain whether it is blood?

If the bleeding continues after forty days, it is considered (non-menstrual vaginal bleeding). Therefore, prayer and fasting should not be abandoned on its account, unless it coincides with her regular menstrual cycle. As for discharge that is not confirmed to be blood, it is not considered menstruation.
