The answer

If drops of blood are found in the vagina during the days of menstruation, they are considered menses, and its rulings apply to them. This is because any brownish or yellowish discharge during the days of menstruation is considered menses, so blood is even more so. A woman does not ascertain purity except by dryness or by the white discharge (al-Qassah al-Bayda’). However, if the bleeding stops after these drops, scholars have differed regarding its ruling.
