Satan strives to divert a person from the straight path by intensifying and whispering whenever one resolves to worship, or by promoting leniency and desires when one slackens. It is recommended for whoever experiences recurring whispers to build upon the greater number, for instance, in the number of rak'ahs, and to disregard the whispers, as this is one of the most successful ways to overcome them.
