Will she be sinful for not being able to recite her daily portion (wird) of the Holy Quran due to lack of time? And will she be sinful for going to the mosque to memorize the Quran during her menstrual period despite her husband's prohibition? And is it permissible for her to recite her daily portion during her menstrual period while wearing gloves?

We thank the questioner for her interest in memorizing the Qur’an. We clarify that there is no sin upon her if she is unable to complete her daily portion (wird). We recommend reviewing previously memorized parts daily. It is not permissible to go to the mosque and remain there during menstruation. It is permissible to read the daily portion from the Mushaf (definition) with a barrier between the hand and the Mushaf according to some scholars, while others have prohibited it. As for reciting the Qur’an by heart, many scholars permit it during menstruation, whether at home or elsewhere.
