Is it permissible for the muezzin to bring a competent substitute, for a salary less than his original salary, during his leave, so that he can pay off his debts?

It is permissible to delegate another person for the call to prayer (adhan (definition)), leading the prayer (imamate), or overseeing an endowment (waqf) under certain conditions: the presence of an excuse, and the agent's eligibility. If the absence is short, it is permissible to give the agent a portion of the money or nothing at all. However, if the period is extended, the agent must be given the full salary for that period, because the remuneration is due to the one who performed the work, and it is not permissible to use worship as a means of earning profit.
