Prayer is the most emphasized of all obligations after the Two Testimonies of Faith, and neglecting it is among the gravest of prohibitions. As for money earned from working in the store, there is a detailed explanation:
- If the wage is for permissible work, then it is lawful money.
- If the wage is for prohibited work, then it is unlawful money that must be disposed of by spending it on the welfare of Muslims.
- If the wage is mixed between permissible and prohibited work, then the unlawful portion must be estimated and disposed of by spending it on the welfare of Muslims.
- If you are poor in the latter two cases, then it is permissible for you to benefit from the unlawful money to the extent that it alleviates your poverty.
