What is the expiation for someone who repeatedly swore oaths and made vows not to return to a job, then repeatedly returned to it?

If you have repeatedly sworn not to return to a certain action and then returned to it, you are liable for one expiation (kaffarah (definition)) only: feeding ten poor persons, or clothing them, or freeing a slave. If you cannot find any of these, then fasting for three days. This applies unless you have already expiated for the previous oaths. What is obligatory in feeding is half a Sa' of the staple food of the country for each poor person (approximately 1.5 kilograms), and in clothing, that which suffices for prayer. If the subject of the oaths is one and the oaths were repeated before expiation, then only one expiation is required. Also, one must avoid excessive swearing and making vows.
