The answer

The Friday prayer is obligatory, and one must hasten to it upon hearing its call, as Allah Almighty says: (O you who have believed, when [the is called] for the prayer on the day of Jumuʿah, then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade).

Prayer time and ablution are exceptions to work hours. If an employer prevents an employee from attending Friday prayer, some jurists have considered this an excuse. However, one must seek another job while diligently striving to preserve the Friday prayer and congregational prayers. Among the excuses that permit missing Friday prayer are a person's fear for their wealth or the existence of harm in going out for it.
