Car insurance is of two types: impermissible (commercial, based on , gambling, and usury), and permissible (cooperative, takaful, based on cooperation and donation).
Working as an intermediary in cooperative insurance is permissible, but in commercial insurance, it is not permissible because it is assisting in what is forbidden.
If insurance is mandatory and there are no -compliant cooperative insurance companies, then it is permissible to act as an intermediary for customers in obtaining insurance from commercial companies, because if it is permissible for the insured, then assisting them is also permissible.
