Is it permissible to work in the construction of government cemeteries with these specifications, which include a wall, a gate, and separate underground chambers for men and women?

Building graves in the manner mentioned in the question, known as "al-fasaqi" (vaults), is impermissible and contrary to the Sunnah (definition). Scholars have explicitly stated the prohibition of burial in them because they do not prevent the odor of the deceased, involve placing one deceased person with another, violate the sanctity of the first, entail construction and plastering, and contradict the Sunnah. Therefore, burial in al-fasaqi is disliked due to its contravention of the Sunnah and for several reasons, including: the absence of a side-niche (lahd), burying multiple people in one grave without necessity, the mixing of men and women without a barrier, plastering them, and constructing upon them. If building graves with these specifications is impermissible, then working in their construction is also impermissible.
