Is working as a journalist in the arts section unlawful (haram) or lawful (halal), knowing that it involves dealing with and speaking to artists?

Contemporary art is replete with impermissible matters according to Islamic law. Therefore, it is not permissible to work in a department that publishes and promotes such art, for it entails approving evil and cooperating in sin and aggression. Allah the Almighty says: [The believing men and believing women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong] and He says: [And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression]. If the job requires dealing with artists, the matter becomes even worse, because it exposes one to trials and acts of disobedience. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "And whoever grazes around the sanctuary is bound to fall into it."
