The answer

A Muslim should be a helper in righteousness and piety, and an impregnable barrier against sin and aggression. It is not permissible for him to be a bridge upon which sin crosses. Allah Almighty says: (And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression). It is not permissible to work for usurious banks, whether through direct employment or by contracting with companies that provide services to the bank, because the one who consumes riba, its giver, its scribe, and its two witnesses are cursed, as narrated by Muslim from Jabir, may Allah be pleased with him. Working in customer service for these banks or providing employees to them involves assisting in riba contracts, which is forbidden.
