What is the ruling on working as an administrative manager?

It is impermissible to work as an administrative employee in a bank that does not adhere to Sharia (definition) regulations and deals in usury (riba), because the prohibition of usury includes those who deal with it and everyone who assists in it. This is based on the Almighty’s saying: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression," and on the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) cursed the consumer of usury, its payer, its scribe, and its two witnesses, and he said: they are equal." And whoever abandons something for the sake of Allah, Allah will compensate him with something better.
