How do you pay Zakat on money owed to you by your brother, knowing that he will pay it back in annual installments over a period that may exceed four years?

The we follow is that you may delay the on this debt until you receive it. Then, you pay zakat on it for the past years after receiving it. So, if you receive the first installment, you pay zakat on it for one year. If you receive the second installment, you pay zakat on it for two years, and so on.
