Is it permissible to وقف (endow) 4 residences out of 8 for the two disabled children, to the exclusion of the other children?

It is permissible to make an endowment (waqf) for one's children, and it is recommended to treat them justly unless there is a legitimate Sharia (definition) reason, such as one of them being disabled or having a large family. Scholars differed regarding preferential treatment in endowments; some held that the endowment should be divided among them with the male receiving the share of two females, while others advocated for equal distribution. Preferential treatment among children in an endowment without a legitimate Sharia reason is disliked because it may lead to discord. However, this dislike is removed if there is a justification such as need, disability, seeking knowledge, or righteousness. For example, Al-Zubayr specifically endowed his divorced daughters, and Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) did likewise.
