Exempting a sister from debt and contributing to the purchase of a refrigerator for her home is a rewarded act, and its reward accrues to the giver as long as the refrigerator is used, both during their lifetime and after their death. However, it is not considered a perpetual charity ( Jariyah) in the jurisprudential sense, which is specific to endowments (waqf).
