Can the amount of Zakat paid in excess in the year 2024 CE (150,0 EGP) be counted towards the Zakat of the year 2025 CE?

It is permissible to pay in installments in specific cases. As for the money exceeding the obligatory Zakat amount, it can be counted towards the Zakat of the following year if it is given with the intention of advancing the Zakat payment. If there was no intention of advancing it, then it will not be counted towards the Zakat of the coming year, but rather it will be considered as a voluntary charity ().
