The answer

A beneficial book is knowledge from which benefit is derived, and teaching medicine for the sake of Allah has virtue. As for continuous charity ( jariyah), it is an endowment (waqf). For a book to be continuous charity, it must be endowed and made accessible for benefit, such as placing it as an endowment in public libraries.
