It is permissible to give to a young man if his salary is insufficient to cover his needs and the needs of those he is obligated to support, and he possesses no other funds for that purpose. Similarly, it is permissible to give it to a student of Islamic knowledge if he would otherwise cease his studies due to seeking earning.
