Will the deceased grandmother forgive her family for their shortcomings towards her, despite her bad temperament and her being pleased with them before her death? And will Allah forgive them for that shortcoming, knowing Allah their good intentions? And will the reward of ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah) and feeding animals reach her after her death?

We ask Allah for mercy and forgiveness for your grandmother. If you have been dutiful to her and fulfilled your obligations to the best of your ability, then you are not required to do more than you are capable of. And if she expressed her satisfaction with you before her death, we hope that you will not be held accountable. What you do of acts of worship and dedicating their rewards to her, such as charity and feeding birds with the intention of dedicating the reward to her, will benefit her.
