The ruling on bidding farewell in the manner mentioned, and what should be said at the end of a call, has been previously explained. As for the ruling on zakat (definition) for the portion deducted from an employee's salary and accumulated for their retirement, zakat is obligatory on it if it reaches the nisab (definition) and a full year has passed over it. However, it is not paid until it is received. At that time, according to the majority of scholars, zakat is paid for the past years, while according to Malik, it is paid for only one year.
