The question

Is it permissible to unify the due date for paying Zakat on two different Nisabs, in origin and time, by making the due date for the second Nisab the due date for paying Zakat on both Nisabs together, thus accelerating the Zakat of the first Nisab?

The answer

Whoever owns a and a year has passed on it, becomes obligatory on them. As for money acquired during the year, if it originated from the principal amount, then both share the same hawl (zakat year). But if it did not originate from the principal amount, yet is of the same type, then it is added to the old money, and a new hawl is started for both, or its zakat can be paid in advance along with the old money for ease. It is not permissible to delay the zakat of money on which a hawl has passed, so that it may be paid with the delayed money. Money acquired that is not of the same type as the first money has its own ruling; if it reaches a nisab, a hawl is started for it and zakat is paid on it, otherwise there is no zakat on it, and it is permissible to pay its zakat before the hawl passes.
