Is zakat obligatory on corn that was ground green as fodder for livestock, knowing that it was irrigated with well water?

Zakat (definition) must be paid on corn if it reaches the nisab (definition) (300 sa' or its equivalent of 612 kg). The zakat is half of one-tenth if the corn is irrigated with water that incurs a cost. Zakat is not obligatory on the farmer if they cut the grains before they ripen, unless their intention in doing so is to evade zakat, in which case they would be sinful and zakat would be obligatory upon them. The time when zakat becomes obligatory on grains is when they harden and become strong.
