Whoever benefits from date palms, and the dates on them do not reach the , but he has other dates, then the dates are combined to complete the nisab. The nisab is five wasqs, which is approximately 612 kilograms; based on the saying of the Prophet, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him: "There is no on grain or dates until it reaches five wasqs." Dates are combined with each other even if their types differ.
