The answer

becomes obligatory on wealth that reaches the (minimum threshold) at the end of each hawl (lunar year), except for harvested crops and fruits, on which Zakat is due only once, even if they remain for years. This is a consensus among scholars, for Zakat on crops and fruits does not recur because Allah Almighty made its obligation conditional upon their harvest, and harvesting does not recur. Furthermore, Zakat recurs on growing wealth, whereas stored crops and fruits cease to grow. As for women's jewelry acquired for adornment and use, scholars have differed regarding its Zakat.
