The threshold for fruits is five wasqs or more. A wasq is sixty sa's, and a sa' is four mudds. A mudd is approximately 560 grams. Thus, the threshold in kilograms is about 672 kilograms of good quality wheat. The amount of zakat that must be given is half of one-tenth if the irrigation involves cost, and one-tenth if the irrigation involves no cost, such as rain.
