The answer

is obligatory on land that you have acquired with the intention of trade. Its value is calculated at the end of the Hijri year, and zakat is paid on this value if it reaches the or completes the nisab by combining it with other assets. It is obligatory to pay 2.5% of its total value every Hijri year, as long as the land is owned with the intention of trade.
