The answer

If money reaches the [] threshold and a year passes over it, becomes obligatory on it. The nisab is equivalent to the value of 85 grams of gold or 595 grams of silver, and the amount due is 2.5%. A car not intended for sale is not subject to zakat. The zakat amount taken from you annually is sufficient for you. What you previously spent on your brother is not considered zakat unless it was given with the intention of zakat.
